Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mich, the host, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk from the port and a 10-minute walk from the main town of Chora. There was a beautiful beach just a 5-minute walk away, and the bus stop was conveniently right outside the hotel. The owners were very friendly and our room had a balcony with a great view of the valley for scenic sunsets. The room was well-equipped with silent air conditioning, new windows to keep out street noise, and comfortable mattresses. The hotel was also near the harbor, only a 7-minute walk away, and it had a central bus stop just 3 minutes away for easy transportation around the island. The amenities were great, including new and fluffy towels, hot water available 24/7, and even water in the fridge. The staff, especially Kostas at reception, were extremely friendly and accommodating, providing lots of useful information and trying their best to fulfill our requests. And of course, the price was very reasonable considering all the fantastic features of our stay. The location was also great, with a nearby beach and clean, well-equipped rooms with air conditioning and balconies offering great views.

The hotel was close to the port of Ios-an easy 5 minute walk. Hotel staff were friendly. They will pick you up from the port and drop you off if required. Room was neat and clean. English channels available on tv.

Wifi was not working anywhere in the hotel due to a line problem. Even though I indicated on Booked.net that I required breakfast, it was a bit disorganised and I ended up eating at the port the second day. Remind them when you check in if you need breakfast. Don't take a shower in the mornings if you want hot water-there was none as it relied solely on solar heating which I believe was inadequate for the number of guests. Bed could do with a blanket rather than just a sheet.

I keep coming back to this amazing place because the staff had the taxi number ready for me on my first visit. Perfect for me, with Wi-Fi, an electric kettle, and all I need. Can't wait for Christmas!

I stayed at the charming Faros hotel in Ios for 2 nights. The hotel's superb location allowed easy access to the beach, port, and Chora. The welcoming host lady greeted us with excellent English skills at the reception desk. Our sea view room was clean and had a kettle, which was essential for our needs. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and they even prepared a takeaway breakfast for my early ferry departure. The family-run hotel had helpful and attentive staff, with the dad even carrying my luggage up the stairs.

I do recommend this hotel.

It was an Extremely Pleasant Family run Hotel,great access to local transport and in close proximity to the Beach and Local village. Definitely will be using the Hotel next year!

We had a fantastic stay at this adorable hotel. The location couldn't be better - just a short walk from the beach and city center. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always available to assist us. Our room was cozy and had everything we needed. Plus, the breathtaking view from our balcony was an added bonus. we had a wonderful experience at this hotel.

The only downside was the small bathroom, but it didn't detract from our enjoyable stay.

Stayed at an amazing hotel in a great location near the beach. The room was well-equipped with A/C and a balcony, and the daily cleaning service was impeccable. The family who owns the hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Can't wait to come back!

A very kind family runs this hotel. Nice rooms with a very large terrace with sea view. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hotel to everyone. The city of Ios is quite a walk but the bus stops in front of the hotel. Clean rooms, beach nearby.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The owners picked us up from the port and gave helpful sightseeing tips around Ios. They also dropped us off at the port at the end of our stay. The hotel is close to the main town and the port.

The room was clean and tidy, and the balcony had an amazing view of the sea. The location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the port where you can catch buses to different parts of the island. I also appreciated that the room was cleaned every day, ensuring a comfortable stay.

During our Christmas stay, we didn't have much contact with the staff, which meant we didn't receive much assistance or have our needs attended to. It would have been helpful to have more interaction with the staff to address any issues or concerns that may have arisen during our stay.

The hotel's decoration was charming and had a traditional Greek feel to it. The general areas were well kept and had comfortable seating areas for senior people to relax and socialize. The hotel's accessibility was great for senior people like myself, with easy access to the main areas of the hotel and a helpful staff that was always ready to assist.

It would have been even better if there were handrails in the hallways and stairs to provide extra support and safety for senior people.
